Dr. Matt Feder, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the Founder of Charge Physical Therapy & Performance. Charge was created to deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy focused on clarity, performance, and long-term results for active individuals and athletes.

Dr. Feder graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences on a pre-medical track. He later earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine, graduating as Class Valedictorian. During his time at the University of St. Augustine, he was inducted into the Delta Phi Tau Honor Society and served as the founding President of the Sports Special Interest Group.

Dr. Feder is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is also certified in dry needling, which he utilizes as an adjunct treatment to reduce pain, improve mobility, restore normal muscle function, and help patients progress more efficiently through rehabilitation when clinically appropriate.

He prides himself on delivering excellence in orthopedic manual physical therapy and takes an evidence-based, individualized approach to care. As a lifelong learner, Dr. Feder continuously adapts his practice as advancements in medicine, rehabilitation, and performance continue to evolve.

His treatment philosophy emphasizes an integrative approach that addresses movement quality while also considering nutrition, sleep, stress, and lifestyle factors that may contribute to musculoskeletal pain or dysfunction. Dr. Feder frequently collaborates with orthopedic, sports, and regenerative medicine physicians to support optimal non-surgical and post-surgical outcomes.

Dr. Feder’s clinical perspective is shaped by firsthand experience with injury, including prior shoulder injuries as a baseball pitcher and a history of ACL surgery. These experiences have fostered a strong sense of empathy and a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands of recovery. As a result, he has developed a particular affinity for treating knee and shoulder conditions.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Feder practices what he teaches. He enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, maintaining a consistent recovery routine, traveling, cooking, exploring Miami’s restaurant scene, and cheering on the UCF Knights during college football season.
